The Intermezzo String Ensemble is to prepare young musicians for progression to playing in a full orchestra. Members will perform string music that will build upon theoretical and musical concepts covered in the Prelude String Ensemble. Emphasis will be given to listening skills as related to playing in a large ensemble.
2011 - 2012 Season
Ms. Victoria Morton will take over as the conductor of the Intermezzo String Ensemble this season. Vicki has been the conductor for the Prelude String Ensemble for many years and she is excited to take on this new challenge. Please join us and welcome her to this new post.

Concerts
The Intermezzo String Ensemble performs three concerts per year at the Jewish Community Center Silicon Valley (map). Admission to the concerts is free.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held every Monday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Los Gatos United Methodist Church.
